Mendy is a solicitor in the Property department and director of WPG. He has been with the firm since July 2014.
Mendy has built a large client base comprising a large number of property companies, offshore trust entities and high net worth individuals, dealing with all aspects of residential, commercial property and leasehold enfranchisement, including property sales and acquisitions, property refinancing and management.
Mendy also acts for many large residential developers acting on land acquisition and advising throughout the development process and eventually dealing with the sale of individual plots. Mendy also carries out a significant amount of secured finance work, acting for bridging lenders, individual lenders and borrowers.
Mendy began his career as a paralegal at HCLS in the West End in their litigation department for a number of years prior to commencing his training contract at WPG in July 2014.
He studied Commercial Law at the University of Westminster and studied the LPC at BBP Law School in London and qualified as a solicitor in July 2016.
Having grown up in London, Mendy moved with his family to Israel as a teenager only to return to the UK to pursue a legal career, learning to speak fluent Hebrew during the process.
Mendy is married with 2 children and is both a huge Manchester United fan and enjoys playing football regularly.
